Mail-in / Depot Repair
We offer depot repair, PM
inspections and calibrations services on most ventilators,
IPPB units, blenders, pulse-oximeters, monitors and
other equipment. To insure prompt turnaround time,
please call our service department for a return authorization
number prior to sending equipment in for repair. We
will also provide a free estimate before any repairs
We do ventilator repairs, provide ventilator parts, ventilator
refurbishing, and preventive maintenance on ventilators.
2011 - GBS is now
certified to work on Impact Eagle 754 ventilators!!
On Site Service
We provide as-needed and emergency
repair services for ventilators and other respiratory
equipment at your facility or Hospital in our local
area (within 200 miles of our New Orleans office). Please
call our service department to schedule any repairs
or rentals that you may need.
General Biomedical Service,
Inc. can provide full factory overhauls for ventilators
and respiratory equipment. We follow all manufacturers
recommendations for overhauls such as installing complete
kits and calibrating units to meet manufacturers specifications.
We can provide overhauls for infant and adult ventilators,
as well as blenders, and compressors from major manufacturers
such as Bird, Bear, Puritan Bennett (Tyco), Respironics,
Sechrist, and Siemens among others. Some of the ventilators
we overhaul include, 8400sti, 6400st, VIP, IPPB units,
IV100b, 7200, 740/760, 840, 900 and 300a. For complete

We can also provide PM contract
service on your ventilators and respiratory equipment.
This includes 2 PM visits per year, standard PM parts
travel and labor at your facility or hospital in our
local area (approx. 200 miles of our New Orleans office).
Complete calibration and check lists are provided along
with electrical safety testing to meet JCAHO recommendations.
Full Service Contract
Our Full Service Contract includes,PM
contract visits, plus all parts, labor and travel for
that year, unlimited service calls and 24 hr technical
support. Contracts exclude expendable parts, accessories,
equipment abuse, water damage and overhauls.
Our technical staff is available
24 hr a day, to answer any questions you may have about
your equipment, our services and rentals.
