Its hard to believe that it has been 25 years since
GBS (General Biomedical Service, Inc.) was founded.
The healthcare equipment industry, the economy and
our lives have changed tremendously through the years.
GBS is proud to grow with our customers by offering

We started in 1982 as a small service company and have
become a leading company providing high quality refurbished
medical equipment and refurbished
ventilators. We carry Adult
ventilators, Infant

years we have added products to our line such as
refurbished anesthesia machines, refurbished
patient monitors, refurbished
pulse oximeters, refurbished

What is Refurbished?
You will be more satisfied
with your purchase of refurbished
medical equipment from General Biomedical because, unlike “used” or “as-is” equipment
available on the market, all General Biomedical refurbished
ventilators and anesthesia
machines undergo
both operational as well as cosmetic restoration.
During the refurbishing process, the medical equipment
is disassembled, components are replaced or repaired
and circuit boards are tested and calibrated before
the equipment is rebuilt according to the manufacturer’s
specifications. Each piece is then outfitted with our
standard accessories and each system and function is
tested in our laboratories over a 72 hours period before
being shipped to you.
Your General Biomedical refurbished equipment arrives
with an operational verification procedure checklist
(OVP), a guarantee of satisfaction, and a 90 day warranty.

“remanufacturado”?
Usted quedará más
que satisfecho con un equipo de General Biomedical Service,
porque a diferencia de los equipos “usados”,
o “as-is”, que estan disponibles en el mercado,
todos los equipos de General Biomedical Service reciben
restoración tanto técnica como cosmética.
Durante el proceso de remanufacturamiento, los equipos
son desmontados; los componentes son reparados o reemplazados
y las tarjetas electrónicas son examinadas y
calibradas antes de que los equipos sean reconstruidos
de acuerdo a las especificaciones de los fabricantes.
Después de este proceso, los equipos son montados
y cada sistema y función son examinados por un
período de 72 horas antes de que los equipos
sean enviados.
Los equipos de General Biomedical Service, Inc. se entregan
con accesorios básicos, una lista de los parámetros
y funciones que han sido chequeados (OVP) y garantía
de 180 días.
